- Comments, reviews, and ratings
- Profile information, avatars, and bios
- Messages, posts, and communications in Circles

- Polls, events, and other community contributions
GoldenEpic Solutions Inc. acts as a platform provider. User Content is created by users, and we are not responsible for user-generated content.
Users are solely responsible for their User Content and for ensuring it complies with these Terms and applicable laws.
3.2 Content Ownership
Except as described in Section 4.2 for submissions to the EpicX Classics catalog, you retain ownership of your User Content. However, by submitting User Content to EpicX, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, sublicensable, and transferable license to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, translate, distribute, and display such content in connection with operating and providing the Service.
EpicX provides platform features designed to improve reading, publishing, accessibility, discovery, and user experience. These features may include, but are not limited to, automatic or AI-assisted translation, text-to-speech narration, audio playback, formatting adjustments, chapter display optimization, content previews, search indexing, recommendations, personalization, and temporary or cached processing necessary to deliver these features.
By creating an account, reading, listening to, uploading, submitting, publishing, or otherwise using content on EpicX, you acknowledge that these platform features may be used as part of the EpicX experience.
If you upload, submit, or publish content on EpicX, you represent that you own or control the rights necessary to make that content available on the platform. You authorize EpicX to host, store, reproduce, display, distribute, transmit, format, process, translate, narrate, index, recommend, and make the content available through EpicX and its platform features.
Automatic translations are provided for convenience and are not official literary translations. They may not perfectly preserve the original wording, tone, style, or meaning of the source content. Text-to-speech narration may be generated using automated tools and may not perfectly reflect human narration.
EpicX may use third-party service providers and technology tools to support translation, narration, formatting, storage, delivery, analytics, moderation, security, abuse prevention, and other platform functionality.
3.3 Content Guidelines
You agree not to post, upload, or share content that:
- Is illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, or discriminatory
- Infringes on intellectual property rights of others
- Contains sexually explicit material involving minors
- Promotes violence, self-harm, or illegal activities
- Contains malware, spam, or phishing attempts
- Impersonates another person or entity
- Violates any applicable laws or regulations
3.4 Content Policy (Community Guidelines)
EpicX allows user-generated content, including stories, comments, posts, messages, listings, and other community content.
To protect users, creators, and our ability to operate (including compliance with Apple/Google platform rules and payment provider rules),
the following content and behavior are prohibited.
- Pornography / sexually explicit content: Explicit sexual content is not allowed. Any sexual content involving minors is strictly prohibited and may be reported where required by law.
- Hate speech: Content that targets people based on protected characteristics (e.g., race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, disability, sex, gender identity, or sexual orientation) is prohibited.
- Violence glorification: Content that glorifies real-world violence or encourages harm is prohibited.
- Illegal content: Content that facilitates illegal activity or violates applicable laws is prohibited.
- Copyright / IP infringement: Uploading or distributing content you do not have rights to is prohibited.
- Harassment and exploitation: Threats, bullying, doxxing, extortion, or sexual exploitation are prohibited.
We aim to review reported content within 24–72 hours. Some cases may take longer depending on volume, severity, verification needs, or legal requirements.
Content Removal: We reserve the right to remove any User Content that violates these Terms, without prior notice. Repeated violations may result in account suspension or termination.
4. Author Terms
4.1 Publishing on EpicX
- Except for the EpicX Classics catalog described in Section 4.2, authors who publish original works on EpicX retain full copyright to those original works.
- By publishing, you grant EpicX a license to display and distribute your work through the platform.
- You represent that you have all necessary rights to publish the content.
- You are solely responsible for the content you publish.
4.2 EpicX Classics Catalog
- The EpicX Classics catalog is reserved for public-domain texts or other source material that you are legally permitted to submit for EpicX Classics publication.
- When you upload, adapt, format, annotate, translate, narrate, title, package, or otherwise prepare a work for the EpicX Classics catalog, you assign to GoldenEpic Solutions Inc., to the maximum extent permitted by law, all right, title, and interest you may have in the specific EpicX Classics edition and the related submission materials you provide for that edition, including formatting, editorial changes, metadata, artwork, cover treatments, audio, and other platform-specific packaging.
- If any rights in that EpicX Classics edition or related submission materials cannot be assigned under applicable law, you grant GoldenEpic Solutions Inc. an irrevocable, perpetual, exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, sublicensable, and transferable license to use, host, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, distribute, display, perform, commercialize, and create derivative works from that EpicX Classics edition and those related submission materials.
- For clarity, the underlying public-domain source text remains in the public domain. This Section 4.2 applies only to the specific EpicX Classics edition, curation, packaging, editorial treatment, metadata, audio, and other materials submitted to or created for EpicX Classics.
- EpicX may continue to host, distribute, promote, adapt, narrate, monetize, repackage, or otherwise exploit EpicX Classics editions after your EpicX Classics access is revoked or your account is suspended or closed, subject to applicable law.
- You represent and warrant that every work you submit to EpicX Classics is in the public domain or otherwise cleared for this use, and that your submission will not create infringement, ownership, attribution, or publicity-rights conflicts.
4.3 Book Inactivity Policy
To maintain platform quality and ensure active content:
- 3-Month Warning: If a book marked as "ongoing" or "in-progress" receives no updates (new chapters, edits, or author activity) for 3 consecutive months, the author will receive a warning notification via email and SMS.
- 5-Month Transfer/Removal: If no activity occurs after 5 months from the initial warning, the book may be:
- Removed from public listings, or
- Transferred to GoldenEpic Solutions Inc. for archival purposes
- Exceptions: Books marked as "completed" are exempt from this policy.
- Reactivation: Authors may reactivate removed books by contacting support, subject to review.
4.4 AI Tools Fair Usage Policy
Subscription tiers include AI-powered writing and cover generation tools subject to fair usage limits:
- Free Tier: $0.50 CAD worth of AI usage per month (~1,000 words)
- Author Tier: $1.50 CAD worth of AI usage per month (~2,500 words)
- Author Pro Tier: $2.50 CAD worth of AI usage per month (~4,000 words)
- Fair usage applies to prevent abuse and ensure service availability for all users.
- When approaching limits (80%), users will receive warnings.
- Upon reaching limits, AI features will be temporarily unavailable until the next monthly reset.
- Limits reset on the 1st of each month.
- Excessive or abusive usage may result in account restrictions.
4.5 Monetization
- Authors may earn revenue through various platform features (premium content, tips, etc.).
- Revenue sharing terms are subject to separate Author Agreement terms.
- We reserve the right to modify monetization features and rates with reasonable notice.
- Authors are responsible for any applicable taxes on their earnings.
No Earnings Guarantee: Monetization features (including tips, paid unlocks, and other earning opportunities) are optional and may not be available to all users.
We do not guarantee any level of earnings, revenue, readership, or payouts. Actual earnings depend on many factors, including user demand, compliance, chargebacks/refunds, fraud review, and platform and payment provider requirements.
4.6 Book Formats, Access, and Generated Reader Features
- EpicX may offer Standard Series, Children, Classics, and Novel formats with different preview, access, chapter-length, pricing, and bundle rules shown before purchase.
- Standard Series currently provide the first 30 story chapters free. Classics use the timed Classic access system, and Children titles retain the access rules shown for that section.
- For Novels, Introduction/front matter is free and the first 2,000 narrative words across Prologue, story chapters, and Epilogue form the free preview. Locked responses do not include the remaining text.
- Novel text unlocks currently cost 5, 10, 15, or 20 Epic Credits for chapters up to 2,000, 4,000, 6,000, or 8,000 words. Corresponding audio unlocks cost 10, 20, 30, or 40 Epic Credits. Eligible bundle prices sum locked-item prices and apply the displayed bundle discount, currently 20%.
- Translation, text-to-speech, audiobook, comic preview, cover, and other AI-assisted features may be generated, cached, unavailable, delayed, or imperfect. They do not replace the author's original text.
- Offline copies are limited, revocable app caches for personal use and do not permit redistribution or removal of access controls.
- Reading progress, goals, streaks, achievements, and rewards may be validated, corrected, delayed, or reversed for errors, refunds, fraud, automation, or abuse.
- ISBN and barcode displays reproduce author-supplied metadata; EpicX does not issue an ISBN or guarantee its registration, ownership, or validity.
5. Marketplace Terms
5.1 Sellers
- Sellers must comply with all applicable laws and regulations.
- Product descriptions must be accurate and not misleading.
- For author-fulfilled products, sellers are responsible for fulfillment, shipping, product accuracy, returns, and customer service.
- EpicX may charge commission fees on sales (rates disclosed in Seller Dashboard).
5.2 EpicX Managed Print
- A print request records reader interest and does not guarantee that a printed edition will be offered.
- For an edition marked "Fulfilled by EpicX," EpicX coordinates printing, packing, shipping, tracking, and support. Production times and physical characteristics may reasonably vary.
- Retail price may include print cost, handling and operations reserves, author royalty, and EpicX margin. The author receives the disclosed edition rate, commonly 60% of the amount remaining after disclosed hard costs, subject to an approved override.
- Shipping and collected taxes are excluded from author royalty. Royalties may be held, reversed, or adjusted for refunds, chargebacks, fraud, production failure, or cancellation.
- Authors and sellers remain responsible for their own income, sales-tax registration, filings, and accurate tax information. EpicX may collect and report information where legally required.
5.3 Buyers and Multi-Seller Orders
- An order may contain items from multiple sellers or fulfillment operators, each with separate shipment timing, tracking, and return responsibility.
- Author-fulfilled purchases are subject to the seller's disclosed terms; EpicX-managed purchases are subject to EpicX's Refund Policy.
- EpicX facilitates author-fulfilled transactions but does not control independent seller conduct. Contact support if direct resolution fails.
6. Virtual Currency & Purchases
6.1 POP Credits
- POP Credits are virtual points earned through platform activities.
- POP Credits have no real-world monetary value and cannot be exchanged for cash.
- POP Credits can be used to redeem items in the POP Store.
- We may modify or discontinue the POP system at any time.
6.2 Epic Credits (Wallet)
- Epic Credits represent real monetary value within the platform.
- Deposits and withdrawals are subject to verification and processing times.
- We may impose minimum/maximum limits on transactions.
- Fraudulent transactions will result in account termination and legal action.
6.4 Anti-Abuse and Economy Protection
Accounts engaging in suspicious earning patterns, fraud, chargeback abuse, or manipulation of rewards/credits may be restricted, have earnings held,
or be suspended/terminated. We may also remove content and correct credit balances where permitted by law and policy.
- No self-tipping: You may not tip your own account or content (including through alternate accounts).
- No tipping loops: Reciprocal/circular tipping patterns intended to inflate earnings are prohibited.
- Limits and eligibility: We may apply account-age requirements, per-day tipping limits, and per-author limits to protect the economy and prevent abuse.
- Review and holds: Tips and creator earnings may be delayed, reversed (where permitted), or held for review before becoming withdrawable, including prior to withdrawal approval.
6.5 Avatar Studio, Companions, Virtual Items, and Quests
- Avatars, Backdrops, virtual pets, cosmetics, accessories, care consumables, achievement displays, and similar digital items are licensed to your EpicX account; they are not owned as physical property and cannot be redeemed for cash.
- Purchases and quest rewards may use POP Credits or Epic Credits as shown before confirmation. Prices, availability, eligibility, reward amounts, and balancing may change prospectively.
- Items retired from sale will remain available to existing owners where legally and technically possible. If an owned item must be removed for legal, safety, licensing, or technical reasons, EpicX will provide a reasonable equivalent or credit adjustment where appropriate.
- Quest manipulation, duplicate-account farming, automated activity, spam, reversals, or fraudulent spending may result in progress or rewards being corrected or reversed.
- Companion neglect never kills, permanently injures, removes, or permanently harms a pet. It may temporarily pause optional benefits until care resumes.
6.3 Refunds
- Digital purchases (books, chapters) are generally non-refundable once accessed.
- Author-fulfilled physical product refunds are subject to the seller's disclosed policy and mandatory law; EpicX Managed Print refunds follow the EpicX Refund Policy.
- Subscription cancellation normally stops future renewal; refunds are governed by the Refund Policy and billing platform rules.
7. Circles (Communities)
7.1 Circle Conduct
- Circle members must respect community guidelines and other members.
- Circle owners/moderators have authority to enforce rules within their circles.
- Harassment, bullying, or toxic behavior is prohibited.
7.2 Circle Content
- Content shared in Circles is subject to the same content guidelines as all User Content.
- Private circles do not exempt content from platform rules.

16.3 Informal Resolution
You may contact us at admin@goldenepics.com to try to resolve a dispute informally. This optional process does not delay or restrict any consumer right, limitation period, court proceeding, regulator complaint, or other lawful remedy.
17. Changes to Terms
We may modify these Terms and will provide notice of material changes through the app or by email. Where acceptance is required, EpicX will display the current documents and block continued authenticated use until you expressly accept them.
